Special Holiday Glossybox Review!

Hi everyone. I hope you are all doing well. I'm sorry posts have been sparse lately.. I've been so busy with the winter holidays. I wanted to get a few posts before the new year tomorrow, so here's the first one. I was contacted by the lovely Jillian of TraceyBrookePR who is working with Glossybox Canada and was invited to the Glossybox event in Toronto, but unfortunately I couldn't make it. She sent me however one of the boxes to review. Here are my thoughts on it!

Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor Holiday Shades - This is a full size polish and it's part of the special holiday collection. It's a beautiful shimmer color which would look great all over or can be used to spice up a look as an accent finger! love the shades and I'm already familiar with the Nicole by OPI range and I like it!


Kryolan For Glossybox blusher in Glossy Pink - Glossybox included a lipstick from the same brand a while back and I was quite impressed with it. This blusher is the same! Great pigmentation, cute packaging, Love it! it's exclusive to glossybox ;)


Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner - I received the conditioner before in another beauty box and wasn't too impressed with it, since I find the whole concept of scalp conditioner quite strange, but I shall give it a try again with the shampoo and report back on my thoughts, as one of my bestfriends really likes it, so maybe it will work better with the shampoo!


Vitabath - I haven't heard of this brand before, but when I was browsing shoppers the other day, I came across it in a christmas set. I'm excited to try this out as it smells amazing! :D


Maybelline MNY MY GLOSS - This is a new product from maybelline I believe because I haven't seen it before. It's a full size product and it's a lovely golden shimmery shade. It is the perfect addition on top of lipstick and isn't too overpowering with the gold bits. It is quite sticky though, but that's kind of expected with maybelline glosses in general.


Curel Hand & Cuticle Therapy Cream AND Uber Loyalty Card - these are bonus items and I received the curel foot cream before and loved it and this hand cream is quite similar and is really good. I have yet to use the uber card as I'm not sure what to order yet on the site!


Glossymag - Glossybox is introducing some new with the boxes and it's glossymag, A cute little magazine with makeup tips, style tips and also features other glossyboxes around the globe and also features beauty bloggers/youtubers which is awesome! :D

My overall thoughts? Very cute holiday box and well put together. My only gripe with beauty boxes is that there is very little introduction to other brands that are not accessible everywhere, BUT glossybox makes up for it with great value for money that you pay for, receiving a lot of full size products and also of course, including new releases from brands such as the ones featured in this box. I love the polish and handcream a lot and I look forward to testing out the other items included! :D
